Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a spot that’s got a little bit of everything when it comes to live entertainment? The Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center in Rockville, Maryland, is just that. Opened back in 2002, this place packs a punch with its lively mix of shows, from jazz and theater to dance and comedy. I mean, they kicked things off with outdoor summer concerts in 2013, featuring free gigs by local bands that drew crowds from all over, creating a real community vibe. One of my favorite memories was the 2010 jazz concert celebrating their sixth anniversary; honestly, around 2,000 people showed up, which is pretty impressive for a regional college venue. The auditorium itself is super easy to find, just near the Montgomery College Student Services building, which helps you get your bearings. If you're driving, hop on I-95 north, then take the Capital Beltway west and follow the signs. Plus, the center’s got some killer photo-op spots for capturing moments from shows, especially during those intimate theater performances. Want the scoop on tickets? Their interactive seating chart is a lifesaver, showing you deals on everything from front-row Caleb Teicher dance shows to VIP sections with Bill Blagg magic tricks, or even budget-friendly seats with Isaac Mizrahi. Honestly, it’s a fantastic place to catch live shows and feel that buzz of real, passionate entertainment, I definitely recommend checking it out.
